2. Route Creation. Would be nice to be able to create/edit a route by typing-in waypoints. Draging and changing the route is a bit clunky as you need to zoom-in to find the right waypoint, and redrawing the 'virtual radar' is slow.
3. Aircraft Editing. Oh dear, this really isn't nice! Using +/- buttons to set fuel capacity, fuel burn and performance figures? I've got to create templates for aircraft that hold 3180lbs of fuel. That's a LOT of clicking, or about five minutes of holding the button down!! Could you please change the input type to the rolling drum/wheel type, or just plain number input fields.
4. Importing and Exporting. Of course, I could save even more time in creating aircraft profiles if we could import them from SkyDemon Plan. Even if we had to resort to dragging files in through iTunes, it would still be a lot quicker. (Same goes for routes too).
5. Downloading MET data. It appears that it will only download wx for airports close to the route. Any chance we could (...click a button to...) get all data for a particular FIR, or maybe point radius? 15nm from track (I'm guessing) isn't far enough for enroute diversions and alternates, or to get a picture of what's coming at you!
6. NOTAM Filter. Same problem as aircraft editing here - wrong control for the task. Start/Finish times and proximity settings are just toooooo slow to change 1nm or 15mins per click - try setting it for just the next few hours when it is already set to 48hrs by default!! For the filter, it would be great to have one-click buttons to give, say 'Today', 'Tomorrow', 'Next 12hrs', 'Next 24hrs', as well as the time range.
Other than (3 and 6), this is a model of iPad usability and beauty. Marvelous job!
